Dimapur, November 2: The 4th KSU open volleyball cum 1st penalty shoot-out tournament, organised by Kiruphema Students’ Union (KSU), kicked off today with Krosal Neikha, 1st class contractor as special guest at Kiruphema local ground, Peducha.
Krosal Neikha lauded Kiruphema Students’ Union for successfully organizing the 4th edition of the tournament and the 1st edition of penalty shoot-out. “It is a tournament to promote young talents, it is a tournament to bring unity within the people of Kiruphema and outside,” he said.
Expressing happiness over the participation of outside teams in the 4th edition, Neikha said, “Your participation has added more flair and flavour to the tournament and portrayed a positive image of KSU amongst the sports fraternity”.
Altogether, 14 volleyball teams and 17 teams for penalty shoot-out are participating in the tournament. The finals will be held on November 3.
