KSOU conference held

Dimapur, January 24: The Kohima Sumi Officers Union organised a one day programme Thursday at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.
Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Himato Zhimomi (IFS), President, Sumi Officers Union Nagaland, shared experiences about his visit to Japan. He encouraged the Sumi officers by citing an example of Japanese people’s best two qualities: Hardworking and Collective responsibility.
The reason for Japan’s success, he said, according to empirical studies, was that the Japanese are developed not because of their intelligence but through their hard work and collective responsibility. He added that the Sumis along with the rest of the Nagas can achieve progress and be like the Japanese people if we respect and follow these qualities in our everyday work place and also in our personal lives.
He also urged the officers present to set a good example for the coming generation by helping and reaching out to the people in need because God has chosen them. He added that if everyone collectively worked together for the tribe our society will progress.
The programme was chaired by Er. Z Tokishe, Kohima Sumi Officers Kuqhakulu (KSOK). (Page News Service)
