Konyak women dance sets  Guinness World Records

Dimapur, April 10: The Guinness World Records has declared that the Konyak Union is the Guinness World Records holder for the ‘Largest Traditional Konyak Dance’ consisting of 4,687 participants.
The official record attempt was made on April 5 during the Konyak Aoleang Festival at Mon town, when 4,687 women danced in full Konyak traditional attire for 5 minutes and 2 seconds.
The approval for setting of the record was received on April 9 from the Guinness World Records, informed Manlip Konyak, President, Konyak Union..
Meanwhile the KU has thanked all the participants, organizers and well wishers for their contribution and support in accomplishing the great achievement. (Page News Service)
