Kohima, November 4: Christ King Church and Meriema Baptist Church will compete in the final of the ongoing Jubilee Trophy organised by Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) in celebration of its Silver Jubilee.
The Grand Finale will be held at Meriema Village Ground here tomorrow at 12:30 PM.
In their road to the final, Christ King Church Thepfuko Krotho defeated Tuophema BC by 8 goals to nil in the first round. In pre-quarter, it won against CRC Viswema by 3 goals to nil, while in quarter final, they outplayed Phekerkriema BC with 4 goals and in the semi-finals won against Tsiesema Basa BC by 2 goals.
Meriema BC Thepfuko Krotho won over Chiephobozou BC by 2-0 in the first round. In pre-quarters, they won against Koinonia Team ‘B’ 4-3, outplayed Chedema BC 2-1 in the quarter final, while they knocked Baptist Church Chiechama by 4-2 in the semi final.
Meanwhile, today an exhibition match was played between Organising Committee XI and Koinonia Men’s FC. The Organiser XI won by 4-1.
