Kohima Super League-4 kept in abeyance

Kohima, April 15: The Kohima Town Club has informed all the participating teams for the upcoming 4th Kohima Super League 2021 that the league has been kept in abeyance till further notice.

While the club informed that they will wait for the government guidelines and SOP to reschedule the tournament. This was informed in a press release from Azho Sophie, Convener, Organizing Committee on Thursday.
Mentioned be made that the tournament was scheduled to be held from April 21st to May 8th at IG Stadium Kohima. However following the detection of Covid-19 positive cases from the representing district at the ongoing Dr. T. Ao Inter-District Trophy, the championship was kept in abeyance.
In this regard, the organizing committee of the KSL-4, various committee convenors, members and KTC members held an emergency meeting on Wednesday evening at Hotel Hungry Me, Kohima to deliberate on the issue.
After a thorough discussion, the house decided that the 4th KSL 2021 will be put in abeyance till further notice from the state government.
The organising committee informed that the 4th edition of KSL 2021 will continue as plan and discuss but will need to wait for Government of Nagaland guidelines and SOP. (Page News Service)
