Kohima Law College to conduct social work on June 4


Dimapur, June 2: Along with the Government of India hosting the World Environment Day, 2018 in India on June 5 on the theme – “Plastic Pollution”, the Kohima Law College is observing World Environment Day on June 4 by conducting social work to clean-up plastic littering around the compound and the surroundings to beat plastic pollution and curtailing use of plastic, plantation, etc.
On June 5, the students of Kohima Law College led by their professors would be going to Dzukou (Southern Angami Dzukou) to participate in the Dzukou Clean Mission organized by Nagaland State Legal Services Authority(NSLSA).
However, the launching of Books Sarvahitey Library Project would be held on June 4 at 10.00 a.m in the college followed with social work. The Professor-in-Charge Students’ Welfare Kezhokhoto Savi have requested all the students to be assemble by 9.30 a.m. on June 4 and bring spade, dao, etc and the college would be providing heavy refreshment.
The college authority has also imposed a penalty of Rs.200 for every absentee.
