Kohima Football League-2; Twenty XI beats United 16

Kohima, August 16: Twenty XI Viswema have moved upto the fourth position winning today’s match of Kohima Football League-2 organised by Kohima Town Club at Local Ground here.
Playing one of the lousiest matches of the tourney, Twenty XI defeated league bottom liners by 2-0 with the goals coming in second half and move above Khriekesa FC Meriema to fourth position with 15 points.
United 16 got an opportunity to score in the 7th minute, but a feeble shot from (7) was caught by Twenty XI custodian Neithongulie Kuotsu (77). Twenty XI left out Theja Chuse (32) tried a long attempt in 16th minute but was denied by custodian Nughato (81)
In 20th minute, (7) came one on one with custodian Kuotsu but his sought rebounded from the post and was cleared by defender. Twenty XI got at least more opportunities to score but United custodian Nughato excellently saved a long attempt from Vizhü Neikha (11) while in the injury added time a header from Apoto Rhetso (28) off Chuse’s corner went slightly over the cross bar and Zevito Khizho (10) long ranger hit the second post to end the first in a deadlock of goalless draw.
In the second half, Bashang (8) tried a flintier but was denied by custodian Neikha for United 16 in 54th minute while in the 63rd minute Menguneizo (17) power shot was blocked by Neikha.
Nevertheless, the 68th minute witnessed Metol neikha (7) breaking the deadlock with his left footer shot while United 16 could have equalized it in 74th minute had not Wanghyu (5) shot from the six yard arena not went wide off target.
Twenty XI confirmed their win in 86th minute through Viho Kin (23) and earned the full points.
