Kohima Football League-2; Twenty XI and Khriekesa FC shares point


Kohima, July 30: Twenty XI Football Club, Viswema and Khriekesa FC Meriema shared a point each in today’s match of the Kohima Football League-2 organised by Kohima Town Club at Local Ground here.
The match ended in 3-3 draw.
Captain Metol Neikha (7) found an early lead for Twenty-XI in 5th minute but their happiness didn’t last long as Keleseto Kenna-o (24) found the equalizer for Twenty XI in 10th minute. But within next two minutes Kelenguto James (21) scored the lead for twenty-XI, which was balanced by Velukho Rakho (11) in 37th minute to end the first half in 2-2 draw.
After the lemon break, Kekhriengulie Üsou (9) gave Khriekesa FC the lead in 52nd minute but this time Twenty XI skipper Neikha scored his second and the equalizer for the team in 61st minute. Thereafter, though both the teams made some swift moves penetrate into the rival danger zone but were unable to get the back but to end the match in draw and a share a point each.
Additional Director of Youth Resources & Sports, Rato Pusa witnessed the match as patron.
