Kohima Football League-2; Sechü-Zubza wins

Kohima, August 3: Sechü-Zubza Football Club remained unbeaten in their sixth round match to earn full three points in the ongoing Kohima Football League-2 organized by Kohima Town Club at Local Ground here.
In a match which initially seemed to be first defeat for the league toppers Sechü-Zubza as they were trailing 1-2 against United 16 FC Lerie in the first half.
However, at the end of full time, Sechü-Zubza won by 4-1.
Sechü-Zubza opened the account through Noune Medoze (21) in 29th minute but Longkhoi (7) equalized for United 16 in 43rd minute while they went ahead through an injury added time goal by Temjen Meren (78).
After the lemon break, Longkhoi once again broke Sechü-Zubza defence line to increase tally to 3-1 for United 16 in 72nd minute.
However, undettered Sechü Zubza managed to return to game with Petevizo Kezieo (7) minimising the margin in 77th minute followed by Kekhrieletuo Tsira (11) equalizing the score through a spot kick conversion in 87th minute. Nonetheless, the stunning winning goal once again coming Petevizo Kezieo breaking the deadlock in the injury added time of second half.Winning today’s match has placed Sechü-Zubza to be undisputed league toppers even at the end of 6th round with 14 points.
During the match Menguneizo Peseyie (17) and Manyong (12) both of United 16 FC were yellow carded for unsporting behaviour.
NDPP General Secretary, Prasielie Pienyü was the match patron of the day.
