Dimapur, September 18: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the Electors Verification Programme (EVP) with effect from September 1 to October 15 to enable the electors to verify their electoral roll data.
In this connection, DC Kohima has informed all electors to check details for any correction and do necessary updation through National Voters Service Portal (NVSP) – www.nvsp.in; Voters Helpline App, which can be downloaded from Google Playstore; respective BLOs through BLO App; Common Service Centres (CSCs) and Voter Facilitation Centres (VFCs).
The electors can submit / upload any one of the given documents for documentary proof as follows: Indian Passport, Driving License, Aadhar, Ration Card, Government ID Card, Bank Passbook, Farmer’s Identity Card, PAN Card, RGI Smart Card or with latest Water/Electricity/Telephone Bill in the name of the applicant or his/her immediate relation like parents etc.
The DC Kohima further informed all registered electors to get their details verified and authenticated between September 1 and October 15 without fail.
