Kohima Diocese gets Priests Home

Dimapur, April 17: The Priests Home for the Diocese of Kohima was blessed and inaugurated on April 17 in presence of Priests, Sisters and Laity. Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima officiated the rite of blessing. Fr. O C Abraham, the senior most Priest of the Diocese of Kohima inaugurated the new Priests Home.
Bishop James Thoppil said the senior and retired Priests have the right to get a comfortable stay. He added that the Priests after slogging for the mission need a decent place to be taken care. He appreciated the Priests for the tireless efforts and sacrifice they put in for the Church in Nagaland. He exhorted the gathering to be part of the Priests Home.
Fr. OC Abraham appealed to the Laity to love their Priests.
The highlights of the programme were prayer of blessing, prayer of the faithful and sprinkling of the Holy water inside and outside the new building.
