Kohima COVID-19 Task Force visits primary health centres

Dimapur, April 17: The Kohima COVID-19 Task Force led by Tongpang Ozukum, Minister Incharge and Shri Dr Nicky Kire, advisor in charge visited various primary health center in Kohima district to inspect the undergoing works related to the community preparedness and response plan for covid-19.
On April 15, the team visited PHC Kimipfuphe, PHC Jakhama and CHC Viswema where works for a 40 bedded Quarantine centre is currently undergoing at Viswema CHC. It may be mentioned that the quarantine centre is being undertaken from the 50% Grant in Aid given to all VDBs.
Tongpang Ozukum also directed all the VDBs to utilize the money released by the state government only for covid-19 related works.
The team also visited Urban Primary Health Centre, Seikhazou and finally concluded the inspection tour with a periodical review meeting of Kohima District Task Force. (Page News Service)
