KNCS opens unit offices at Wokha, Longsa


Dimapur, July 5: The Kyong Naga Cultural Society (KNCS) Okying Kohima with an aim to “Research, preserve and to promote” the rich Lotha Naga culture and tradition inaugurated its unit office at Wokha village, with Dr Chumben Murry, MLA as the resource person and at Longsa village with Er. S. Emmanuel Ezung, SDO R&B, PWD, Wokha as the resource person.
At Wokha village, Dr Chumben Murry, MLA spoke on the importance of tourism. He also urged the society while promoting the rich culture and tradition should be wise and careful to choose only the good ones and leave the redundant ones.
Pastor, Wokha Village Baptist Church, O Thungben Kikon prayed for the newly elected office bearers of KNCS Wokha village unit.
At Longsa village, resource person, Er. S. Emmanuel Ezung, SDO, spoke on the importance of tradition attire, a must to wear for it is our identity. He also suggested on the importance of wearing different attires with different significance on different occasion. Catechist St. Peter’s Church Longsa village, T.
