Dimapur, March 26: In order to facilitate home delivery of essential goods such as groceries, food items and medicines to citizens, the Kohima Municipal Council will provide special permit to Last Mile Delivery (LMD) startups/firms who have a valid KMC trade license and operating in Kohima.
To apply for the special home delivery permit, the registered delivery firms can send email along with scanned copy of their valid KMC trade license to kmc.kohima@gmail.com and ceo.smartcity.nagaland@gmail.com.
The applicant should provide a self-attested statement attached to the email to undertake deliveries following proper hygiene and sanitization protocols such as zero contact with customer, use of masks and gloves which need to be replaced after every delivery along with sanitization of the products.
KMC is also undertaking sanitization of the city using road cleaning vehicles along with sanitary workers. It appealed to citizens to contribute towards the effort by making freewill donations to the account number: 3260419013; IFSC – CBINO282589; Central Bank of India, Kohima Branch.
