Kevechutso Doulo takes charge as NEPED chairman

Dimapur, July 3: A host of BJP members today accompanied Kevechutso Doulo who took over the charge as NEPED chairman at Kohima. The meeting was chaired by team leader of NEPED (Nagaland Empowerment Protection and Economic Development) Menokhul John, Commissioner and Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Kevechutso Doulo expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphu Rio, Deputy CM Y Patton and the party for entrusting him the new responsibilities. As the State longs for peace and development, he said under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister at the State and under the Prime Minister of India, transformation and changes can take place in Nagaland. He appealed to the staffs of the NEPED to continue to work as team to reach the unreached areas of the State focusing on the rural people and in particular the women.
Team leader Menokhul John briefed the new chairman about the management and the projects achieved by NEPED in the State. He said the members work on the principle of team spirit which has brought out many success stories in the State since its inception. (Page News Service)
