Kashiho inaugurates Jan Shikshan Sansthan at Kiphire

Dimapur, February 17: Minister for Soil & Water Conservation and Geology & Mining, V Kashiho Sangtam inaugurated Jan Shikshan Sansthan centre at Kiphire on February 16.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Kashiho said through the JSS programme, drop-out students can avail free vocational training.
He urged the trainees not only to acquire the diploma certificate but gain knowledge so as to set up one’s own business for self-employment.
He encouraged the drop-out students to spread information about the programme in the rural areas.
Chairman of JSSK Board of Management, Pankaj Kumar, while highlighting the aim of the programme, said that JSS’s main objective is to provide free vocational training to skill the drop-out students and help them create new opportunities.
He said that JSS will be opened at Pungro and Seyochung very soon and also in rural areas.
Guest of honour, Mahatma Gandhi Fellowship, Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurs, Suknya spoke about the Skill Development objectives and its activities.
