Kashiho, Dr Shürhozelie & others condole Temjen Toy’s demise

Dimapur, January 29: Minister in charge of Geology & Mining and Soil & Water Conservation, V Kashiho Sangtam has mourned the demise of Temjen Toy, Chief Secretary of Nagaland.


Expressing immense sadness, Kashiho said Nagaland has lost an upright and dynamic bureaucrat. He said Late Temjen Toy was a man of strong character and it is a matter of huge loss for the people to lose a brilliant officer who served the people with sincerity and commitment.
In his message, minister conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that God grant them comfort at this time of grief and also for eternal solace of the departed soul.
NPF President: NPF President, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, on his behalf and on behalf of his party rank and file expressed grief at the the untimely demise of the Nagaland State Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy on January 28 at Kohima.
His demise has come as a shock to the whole of the Naga people as Late Temjen Toy was not only a great administrator who holds the highest position in the State Government but was an upright, humble and a man of statesmen who dedicated his entire life for the welfare of the Naga people, Dr Shürhozelie said.
Stating that his death was a great loss for the Government and the Naga people, the NPF president said his contribution towards the Government and the people will be always remembered.
The NPF conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the family members of Late Temjen Toy and prayed to the Almighty God to grant them solace and comfort at this time of grief and sorrow.
Thenucho: Former Minister, Thenucho Tunyi has expressed grief at the demise of Temjen Toy and said late Toy was an able administrator who demonstrated a firm dedication to his work.
In his death, we have lost a noble soul, Thenucho said and conveyed deepest sympathies to his wife, children and family members and prayed to God for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NStCB: The Management, Officers and Employees of the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd held a condolence meeting today and condoled the sudden demise of Temjen Toy, IAS, who breathed his last on January 28 at Kohima and prayed for the departed soul.
Officers and employees remembered Temjen Toy, IAS, former Chief Secretary, Nagaland and former Chairman of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd. as one of the pioneers in leading the Cooperative movement in the State and the Cooperative Bank in particular.
Describing him as a public servant of sterling qualities and dedication, the NSCB thanked him for his
his contributions, who during his tenure as Chairman of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank, contributed to a great extent for the advancement of cooperative movement in general and the bank in particular.
The Management, officers & staff conveyed their heartfelt grief & condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty God to provide courage and solace to his family members at this moment of grief.
NLSF: The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) expressed shock at the sudden and untimely demise of our Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy.
Stating that his passing away is a great loss for the law students of the state and an irreparable loss to the people, the NLSF conveyed its deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grant the strength and solace during this time of grief.
CANSSEA: The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) has also expressed shock at the sudden demise of the Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy, IAS.
“We, the State Services Employees of the Government of Nagaland see him as a very humble, sincere, dedicated and upright bureaucrat. He was an epitome of equality and justice. We have seen from his works and deeds that his mission was for the wellbeing of the people and the State. His selfless service towards humanity shall go down the annals of our history,” it said.
The association prayed to the Almighty to grant solace to the bereaved family and the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
AGOK: The Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (AGOK) has expressed shock and grief at the untimely demise of Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland, saying with the passing of Toy, the State has lost a great man.
“He possessed an innate charisma with a benevolent disposition that earned him the well-deserved respect and admiration from everybody he came in contact with,” it said.
The Krotho on behalf of all its members offered condolences to the bereaved family members, and hoped that the departed soul rest in peace.
MHD: The Mao Hoho Dimapur (MHD) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Temjen Toy, IAS.
“Lt. Temjen Toy was a towering personality and a very efficient administrator. In his demise, not only the Government of Nagaland, but the Nagas as a whole has lost a very noble being whose contribution will ever be remembered,” it said.
The MHD conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
WCH: Western Chakhesang Hoho lamented that Nagaland has lost a great person through the demise of late Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland. It said late Toy was a man holding high responsibility as top bureaucrat but accessible to all.
The WCH prayed to God to give comfort & strength to all near & dear ones.
DAYO: The DAYO has expressed shock at the untimely demise of Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Nagaland and said he had been one of the most prolific, sincere, committed and hard working bureaucrat that Nagaland has been blessed in recent years.
Stating that his death has left a gaping hole not only among the ranks of committed bureaucracy in Nagaland today but also amongst the Ao community, the prayed that the Almighty God give strength and courage to the bereaved family members to overcome this dark period.
KIN: Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) has expressed shock and grief at the untimely demised of Pu Temjen Toy, the incumbent Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland on January 28. The KIN said the departed leader has impeccable record in the service to humanity, giving his best for the upliftment of the society and the Nagaland populace during his lifetime.
Stating that his death is a great loss for the Naga people in Nagaland, in particular and the Civil organizations of different communities in general, the KIN extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, near and dear ones.
ANCSU: The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has expressed pains and grief at the demise of Temjen Toy, Chief Secretary, Nagaland.
Mourning the demise a sincere bureaucrat, the ANCSU extended heartfelt condolences to the family members, near and dear ones of late Temjen Toy.
NTC: The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has expressed shock at the demise of Temjen Toy, (IAS), Chief Secretary to the Govt of Nagaland, who breathed his last at Kohima on January 28.
Stating that his sudden death is unimaginable lost to the Nagas as a whole and created vacuum which is difficult to fill-in, the NTC expressed its utmost sympathy, shared the sadness and conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to almighty God to grant them courage to withstand in this time of sorrow and grief.
FONSESA: FONSESA has expressed shock at the sudden demise of Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy and said late Toy was the administrative head as Commissioner & Secretary of various Engineering Department at various times and he had exhibited exemplary scientific temper in all his understanding and dealing.
The FONSESA said in his untimely demise people have lost a man of sterling qualities and the vacuum would be difficult to fill.


NGTC: The Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC), which expressing shock and grief at the demise of Temjen Toy, said on his death the state in general has lost a great personality and a visionary leader. The Council extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
KSUD: The Khiamniungan Students’ Union Dimapur (KSUD) expressed sorrow at the demise of Temjen Toy and said Nagas have lost a sincere, dedicated and a humble administrator of great caliber who set pinnacles in his chosen career and served the state Government in various capacities. The Union also offered deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
NCD: The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has expressed grief at the passing away of Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland.
The NCD said his immense contribution to the welfare of the state of Nagaland will always be remembered and conveyed deep sympathy to late Temjen Toy’s family, his close friends and relatives and all other who are grieving this significant and painful loss.
