“Just no data”!

Dear Madam,
Near about 1000 deaths on highways and railway tracks — Yet ”Just no data”!
That means at the end of the day — ”Just no deaths”!
The most horrendous mass displacement within the nation got witnessed since the gory Partition — Yet how indifferently hundreds of deaths following heart attack, malnutrition or accidents can be nonchalantly discounted!
Perhaps suicide of a Bollywood star is the only thing which matters in this class-conscious society!
Bob Dylan wrote ”Yes, and how many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesn’t see …. Yes, and how many ears must one man have before he can hear people cry …. Yes, and how many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died?”
Dylan will continue to remain relevant and live on till torture upon vulnerable will thrive coupled with supreme indifference towards them by authority and society. Indeed this society would still have to walk many many miles before it turns habitable for the likes of 12-year old labourer Jamalo Makdam who passed away upon street while walking to his Chattisgarh home from the chilli fields of Telengana!
