Jubilee Clock Tower & free drinking water booth inaugurated

Dimapur, February 9: The Jubilee Clock Tower and Free Public Drinking Water Booth, constructed by Dimapur Lampangkong Senso Telongjem at Nyamo Lotha Road was inaugurated by Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Metsubo Jamir.
Speaking at a brief function, Jamir lauded the commitment of the people to bring forward such facilities of water in Dimapur. He also appreciated the solidarity shown by the people in Dimapur in such projects, and said that people appreciate Dimapur people for being able to live together in harmony. He also urged individual, groups and organizations to make Dimapur better by their contributions.
Advisor, Power, Tovihoto also appreciated the Langpangkong Senso Telongjem Dimapur for taking initiative to build the clock tower and providing water facilities in Dimapur town at a place, which was earlier the filthiest place in the town. He said this would send a message across the state that as a society, community and organization it is our moral responsibility to contribute to the society.
MLA, Moatoshi Longkumer also appreciated the Lampangkong Senso Telongjem for giving back to the society and proving their very existence in the society.
He urged Dimapurians and people of Nagaland to come together and take up similar projects.
