DIMAPUR, MAY 4: The Joint Co-ordination Committee of Villages (JCCV), Dhansiripar, has suspended its ongoing agitation of locking of Dhansiripar based Government offices and proposed bandh of State highway with immediate effect for enabling peaceful and amicable solution.
The JCCV is against the merger of some villages under Dhansiripar Sub-Division and Urra area with the newly created district of Chümoukedima.
In a press release, JCCV said its agitation was suspended following commitment given by the Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, to facilitate and pursue the demands of the Joint Co-ordination Committee of villages for Dimapur district.
