On the request of the Home Commissioner, Nagaland, through SDO (C), Dhansiripar, and verbal request of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland, the JCCV had put off agitations and have been waiting till date for the Government to resolve the impasse, it said adding it is not known if the Dimapur-Chumoukedima boundary demarcation Committee headed by Home Commissioner, Nagaland, could submit the report to the Government.
Even after almost four months of fervent pleas the Government neither tried to listen to the JCCV nor cared to speed up the decision on the impasse, the JCCV stated.
Mention is made that the JCCV at different levels had submitted representations to the Government to retain the listed 50+ odd villages with Dimapur district.
