Dimapur, June 28: In view of the flood situation in Assam which has brought untold sufferings with loss of lives including livestock, wild life, besides huge damage of properties and vegetation, the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) has appealed to Red Cross members and individuals, well-wishers to help out during this crisis.
The IRCSN said that the total number of affected people is already over 22 lakhs in 28 districts and the death toll has risen to 128 and counting.
It appealed to send kind and generous contribution to Red Cross on or before July 12 to the following : Account No SBI Bazaar branch Kohima, A/C No 10276981324 IFS Code: SBIN0006485 or Cheque or Cash to the Treasurer, Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland Office, Kohima, Nagaland.
