IPR Director visits Kiphire, Pungro

Dimapur, November 2: The Director of Information and Public Relation, Limawati Ao visited District Public Relation office, Kiphire on November 2. During his visit he interacted with the staff of DPRO and asked them to be more sincere diligent in performing their duties.
Limawati said that the department was set up by the Government not to employ people but to help public in the form of disseminating news and events occurring in their area. He not only interacted with the staff but also provided necessary equipment to the office and asked them to utilize properly for the welfare of the people while interacting with the staffs, they also informed about the shortage of staffs in the office. The Director assured that he will look into the matter in course of time.
During his visits, he also inspected the quarters owned by the department and had an interaction with the land owners.
The Director was accompanied by APRO Nongozo Rikha.
Earlier the Director visited Pungro Information Centre under Kiphire District on November 1. During his visit, he interacted with the staff and was apprised of the problems and grievances faced by the department while discharging duties. He assured that the matters will be taken into consideration for examination.
At the same time, he also urged the staff to be sincere and consider their job as the first priority. “Serving in a Government sector and earning a decent salary at this competitive age is not only fortunate but also an honour for which, we should be grateful to Almighty God”, he said.
Chairman, Pungro Village Council, Y.Chipong and his colleagues also interacted with the Director during his visit and expressed their gratitude for visiting Pungro sub-Division.
The Director was accompanied by DPRO Kiphire, K Zeliang, APRO Nongozo Rikha and staff of DPRO Kiphire.
