IPR Advisor reviews COVID-19 situation in Shamator, Tsg

Dimapur, May 1: Advisor I&PR, VG, SCERT and Chairman DPDB Tuensang, Toshi Wongtung visited Shamator on May 1 and took stock of the situation from Task Force for COVID-19 Shamator.
Lankonsen Tsanglao, ADC Shamator highlighted the immediate needs to the MLA and Advisor. The meeting was held in presence of selected YTC, Public Forum Shamator, Chambers of Commerce, Shamator, Police, VG, 45AR, NDPP 58 A/C office bearers and Covid-19 Team Shamator.
The Advisor also donated face masks, hand sanitizers, bathing soaps, fruits and vegetables, rice and other essential commodities.
Earlier Toshi Wungtung held a meeting with Tuensang District officers on April 30 at Circuit House.
The Advisor appreciated the District Task Force (DTF) on COVID-19 and all the front line warriors for controlling the pandemic in the district and also expressed happiness for cooperation given by the citizens of Tuensang district from day one of the lockdown.
He also took the stock of district hospital, which is also designated as COVID-19 hospital. He informed that the ambulance, ventilator, PPEs, medicines and other necessary kits will be arriving soon. He urged all the front line warriors to be well prepared and equipped with the advance technology of health care facilities.
Wungtung also spoke on the burials of COVID – 19 death bodies if any case arises.
The Advisor further requested the District administration and law enforcement agencies to keep vigil in all the district boundaries and also the international boundary of Myanmar.
