Nagaland News

Dimapur, February 3: North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) Dimapur, in collaboration with Pinnacle Skills conducted an interactive session on ‘Youth and Employable Skills’.
Debojit Sarkar (Operational Head, Pinnacle Skills) oriented the students on soft skills training. He stressed on the importance of empowering the youth through various skills and trainings.
He mentioned that Nagaland is recorded as the state with the highest rate of unemployment in India, at an alarming rate of 24.9%. The reason for this is because the youth are less interested to get out of their comfort zone and there is no work culture among the youth of Nagaland. (Page News Service)
