Interactive lecture held at C-Edge College


Dimapur, January 17: The Department of History and Political Science, C-Edge College organised an interactive lecture with Matthew Wilkinson as the guest lecture on January 17 on the topic ‘Frontier and Nagaland’
Wilkinson is a Research Scholar from the University of New South Wales, Australia who is currently doing his PhD on Men at the Margins: Patriarchy and Post-Conflict at the Indo-Burmese Frontier. He has been an academic tutor on a long list of interesting topics such as local politics of development, academic literacies, tactical counter terrorism, international relations, and terrorist networks and operations. He is also a research lead at the University of New South Wales and is also a freelance editor.
The lecture session highlighted on the dynamic outsider’s perspective and also encouraged dialogue and interaction on Nagaland as a frontier. The lecture session rounded off with some mind intriguing question which left the audience to retrospect on as to who holds the right to speak on behalf of the Naga society.
