INP range offices get vehicles

Dimapur, April 26: The Director, Intanki National Park, inspected both ‘A’ and ‘B’ Range Headquarters at Beisumpuikam and Athibung respectively on April 25. During his visit, he handed over Bolero Camper for performing patrolling duty, generator and Syntex to each range.
The Director lauded both the Principal Secretary and PCCF & HoFF, Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for providing the must needed facilities with T.A to the Forest Protection Force showing their concern for the staffs and the National Park.
While exhorting the staffs to be sincere in performing their duties in protecting the National Park, he mentioned that since the authorities are providing the facilities which are not received by other staffs of the same department, the protection force in return should show their excellent talent in protecting the park from all illegal activities.
The Director instructed the concerned two Range Officers to gear up the patrolling routine to check hunting, fishing and logging inside INP. He cautioned the staffs to be regular in station without which protection of the park is impossible. He also encouraged the Forest Protection Force to perform their duties with dedicated spirit.
