Immanuel College celebrates Int’l Women’s Day


Dimapur, March 8: International Women’s Day was celebrated at Immanuel College, organised by the Women Cell today at the College Auditorium for the female faculty members as well as the female students.
The speaker for the programme was Merensola Imchen, Counsellor & Chaplain, Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School.
In her speech, she highlighted on the uniqueness of women. She opined that a strong woman and her essence is a gift to the world and just being a woman is God’s gift, which all the women must appreciate.
The programme was led by Moanaro Jamir, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, invocation by Lothunglo Ngullie, HOD Department of Botany, special number presented by Wadangnola (B.SC 2nd Send),Vote of thanks was delivered by Sungjemmenla Jamir, HOD, Department of Economics. The programme concluded with a benediction by Imjungla Imchen,Assistant Professor Department of History.
