IGP, DIG CRPF review security situation in Nagaland

Dimapur, September 7: Inspector General of Police, CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector, Randeep Datta, PMG along with DIG (Operations, CRPF Kohima visited 173 Bn CRPF Headquarter at Dimapur and other CRPF establishments on September 6 to review the overall security situation in Nagaland.
The senior commanders were briefed by Vishnu Gautam, Commandant 173 on the preparedness of CRPF in performance of their assigned duties in Nagaland.
The IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector expressed satisfaction on the commitment and preparedness of CRPF in the state. He complimented the troops for their sustained hard work, professionalism and devotion to duty.
“During his visit, he will also hold several security meetings with other security agencies in Dimapur and Kohima as well,” a CRPF official said.
The IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector also took part in “Fit India Movement” at 173 Bn CRPF Headquarters along with the jawans and their family members which is a nation-wide movement in India to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by inculcating physical activities and sports in daily lives.
