Dimapur, June 26: Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) in association with Dimapur Dental Centre organised a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program on Dental Implants from June 11 to 15 at Hotel Grand Tizu, Dimapur.
Dental Implants are fixed artificial teeth which are embedded in the bone. Dr. Sameer Kaura, MDS (HOD), GJS Dental College, Ludhiana was the chief Mentor for the programme. Dr. Imtiwabang Pongener, Registrar, Nagaland State Dental Council who was the NSDC Observer for the programme was also present.
Several doctors from various parts of Nagaland as well as Golaghat, Assam had come to enhance their surgical skills required to perform the delicate procedure of Dental Implants. A good number of patients were treated till yesterday in Dimapur Dental Centre at free of cost.
Dr. Vizo Solo added that this programme will now enhance the dental doctors of Nagaland to give a superior treatment to all the patients who opt for this treatment. (Page News Service)
