ICDP beneficiaries trained at Tuensang


Dimapur, July 15: Under first phase ICDP 2018-19, training programme for beneficiary societies was held at CKS Hall Tuensang on July 12, which was organized by PIT, ICDP Tuensang District. In Tuensang out of total 800 societies, 57 primary cooperative societies (beneficiaries) received the benefits in the first phase.
Akhang Jongshi, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Chief Project Officer (CPO) Tuensang highlighted on the basics of book keeping records and loan recovery on time.
Dr. Keviletsu Khate, KVK disseminated on farming and management of piggery and poultry and maintenance of good breeding systems. He highlighted in details on nurturing, safe farming and disease related to piggery and farming while other officials discussed on the production technology on cultivation of field crops.
After the formal session the beneficiaries along with the officials went for field and practical training located B&N Farm at Yungpang Village. The main purpose of the field trip was to provide a firsthand experience and practical training on the management of lifer stocks.
