Dimapur, June 2: Hazi Park Business Welfare Committee (HPBWC) has appealed to Deputy Commissioner Dimapur to permit the businesses in Hazi Park Market to open with certain guidelines, which it said would be followed by the market people.
In a letter to DC Dimapur, HPBWC president, Hukato V Achumi stated that Hazi Park Market has been kept closed since March 24 in view of the ongoing lockdown for COVID-19 due to which most of the landlords, shop owners including their employees are facing financial crisis for their sustenance.
It said other shops, showrooms of the town including all the shopping malls has been given relaxation during the lockdown, therefore the HPBWC appeals for permission to open the market.
It also assured that efforts would be made to maintain social distancing and it would be complied with other protocol of Covid-19. (Page News Service)
