Hornbill Night Parade adds excitement to Kohima Night Carnival

Kohima, December 8: The first ever Hornbill Night Parade in 19 years of Hornbill Festival added excitement among in the Kohima Night Bazaar here tonight.
All the 17 cultural troupes, performers of Hornbill festival 2018, attired in their traditional dresses walked through the stretch of Old MLA junction to Razhü Point led by the Police Brass Brand and followed by Bridal march, jokers, hip-hop dancers and modelers were received by cheers by thousands of people thronging the night bazaar.
While Brass band moved playing different musical piece, the cultural troupes also displayed own tradition, with hip-hop dancers exhibiting stunts and then the bridal march.
Kohima Night Carnival along the main stretch of the town is being organized by Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry with hundreds of stalls entertaining guest with Naga cuisines and also fast food, besides other items for kids.
The Night Carnival will also conclude on December 10.
