Dimapur, September 8: The Hongmeila SHG society organized “Seminar & Awareness on Phom Tribe Festival” from September 3 to 5 at IRCA Hall Longleng.
The closing seminar/program was chaired by Moie (Joint Secretary, Hongmeila SHG Society).
The seminar was conducted on the motive to reignite the knowledge of traditional culture of the Phom Monyiu festival and how to preserve Phom culture in this transitioning modern life. Three Resource Persons spoke during the seminars.
The program was followed by cultural shows and songs from various groups and individuals. The seminar concluded with vote of thanks by Phongla Phom, President Hongmeila SHG Society.
