Dimapur, November 30: The Department of Information & Public Relations with Eastern Art Council and Portrait Enterprise is organizing Hornbill International Photo Fest (HIPFEST) as part of the Hornbill Festival 2019 from December 1to 10 at Heritage Village, Kisama. Advisor for IPR, SCERT and Village Guards, Toshi Wungtung will inaugurate the HIPFEST pavilion at 3:15 pm on December 1.
The theme of photo contest is “Mood or Emotion” for junior category and “Colours of Nagaland” for other category.
In the junior category, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position will be awarded Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. In other category, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position will be awarded Rs 40,000, Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000 and 2 consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each.
Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of I&B Kohima will organize a Multi Media Exhibition programme commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at World War II Museum Campus, Kisama on December 1 at 3:10 pm.
Chief Minister Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio will grace the occasion as the special guest.
