Hindi teachers appeal for salary

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 18: The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union, Kohima Unit, has appealed to the Education Department and the State Government to release the pending salaries of those Hindi teachers appointed during 2012-15.
Stating that the Hindi teachers are been left unpaid since November 2021 completing 3 long months and ending towards the 4th month, the Union urged the concerned Department and the State Government to clear the salaries and arrears (November 2021 till now) without any more delay as the teachers solely depends on their salary for their livelihood and to meet both ends for daily needs.
The ANHTU, Kohima Unit, appealed to the concerned Education Department and the State Government to look into the matter without any further delay and also to ensure timely release of salary in future.
Meanwhile, the ANHTU, Peren Unit, has also appealed to the state Government and its concerned Department to release the pending salaries of CSS-2012 to 2015 batch from November 2021 to January 2022 along with arrears.
It lamented that even after the completion of 10 years of service the concerned Department could not deliver its genuine demands.
