Kohima, AugUST 28: Amidst increasing cases of COVID-19 in the State capital among non-quarantined persons, a judge of Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench has tested positive for the virus.
Sources said a judge of the GHC Kohima (name withheld) and his wife, who were supposed to move outside the State and had undergone swab testing, tested positive for COVID-19.
The link of the two contracting the disease is yet to be established, however, efforts to confirm the matter through calls and social media contacts from the State Health & Family Welfare Department went in vain till the time of filing this report.
But reliable sources, while confirming their COVID positive status, said they are under home isolation.
Currently, Kohima has a total of 1,137 COVID-19 cases out of which 392 are active, 742 recovered and 3 have migrated.
