Haiying inaugurates bridge and community hall at Langnok

Dimapur, May 20: Advisor to Prisons, Printing & Stationery H Haiying inaugurated a Bailey bridge at Luvei Mong, Langnok Village road, and a community hall at Langnok Village on May 20.
Haiying urged the villagers to know their responsibility and learn to live in unity.
While expressing appreciation for the good workmanship in constructing the bridge and the community hall, Haiying requested the people to take care of government facilities and take ownership of the infrastructure.
Deputy Commissioner of Noklak Hiazu Meru said the Government is giving importance to the border district and villages- Langnok village is located very close to the international boundary between India and Myanmar.
He advised the VCC, GBs, VGs, and village elders to control and check illegal activities such as transportation of intoxicants.
Mandal President, Peshen and District Planning Officer, Noklak Meren Jamir also spoke during the occasion.
The keynote address was taken by Hd. GB Langnok Khonglai while the vote of thanks was spoken by VCC Langnok Pengchang.
Meanwhile, Haiying inspected the ongoing construction of Langnok village ground.
