Kohima, May 28: The Gorkha Youth Association (GYA) Kohima has completed 28th years of existence in the service of the community in the State capital.
Marking the occasion on May 27, the GYA officials led by its president Narayan Bahadur involved in charity work by extending edibles and cash to some elderly widows engaged as vegetable vendors and also donated rice, pulse and hand soaps to Bright Morning Star Children Home, Kohima.
During the charitable work, GYA Kohima officials followed all social distancing protocols.
Meanwhile, GYA Kohima lauded the visionary leadership of the founding president Deepak Lama, former president Milan Sunam and the pioneers from 1992 who had the vision of establishing this body.
On the occasion, the incumbent officials reaffirmed to work with zeal and enthusiasm for the common welfare of Gorkha/Nepali community. (Page News Service)
