Guv Ravi initiates 100-room patients’ hostel for disadvantaged of remote areas

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14: Concerned about the people coming from remote areas of Nagaland to Dimapur for medical treatment and unavailability of affordable lodging facilities, Governor of Nagaland RN Ravi has conceived to set up a 100 room patients’ hostel facility in Dimapur to mitigate their problem.

A press release issued by PRO to Governor stated that the commercial lodges and hotels are expensive for poor people augmenting their misery, woes and hardship.
The Governor has expressed gratitude to Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, Raj Kumar Singh, a dear friend of his and ardent well wisher of the people of Nagaland who readily agreed to meet the cost of this project.
As instructed by Governor, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, has tentatively located the land and has been tasked to prepare building plan and management of the Patients’ Hostel.
The State Government has been requested to provide the needed assistance and guidance to Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, in this regard for early completion of the project.

Soon, the proposed facility will be completed and it will start serving the needy people of Nagaland, the release added.
