Dimapur, July 31: Governor of Nagaland R N Ravi has extended warm Tsungremong greetings to Ao brothers and sisters and to the people of Nagaland.
Tsungremong is traditionally celebrated by the Ao people to reinforce their bond of brotherhood and also thanks giving to the God for a bountiful harvest. This centuries old tradition is a priceless cultural heritage of the Ao people, he stated in a message.
Ravi urged upon the community specially the youth to imbibe and propagate the values of brotherhood inherent in their festival.
He also appealed to the people to celebrate this beautiful festival observing COVID-19 protocols and wished them all good health, happiness and prosperity. (Page News Service)
