Dimapur, January 12: Governor of Nagaland R N Ravi has extended warm Poang Lüm greetings to the people of Nagaland specially Chang brothers and sisters.
The Governor said the festival marks the traditional celebrations of self-sufficiency by the Chang Community and heralds the beginning of cultivation process and seeks blessings for a bountiful harvest.
Stating that this significant festival advocates unity and friendship, the Governor said the festival also aims at passing down the spiritual and cultural richness of the beautiful traditions of Changs to the posterity.
He also urged everyone to celebrate the festival by following Covid-19 protocols and wished all happiness, good health and prosperity.
