Dimapur, October 29: Governor of Nagaland R N Ravi has extended greeting to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad, which is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammed.
In a message, the Governor said during this occasion, an honourable practice is the act of kindness rendered towards one another, especially towards the needy and poor.
“Let us celebrate this important festival safely, observing all Covid-19 protocols. May this auspicious occasion continue to usher us towards virtue, peace and unity,” he said.
Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio also conveyed good wishes to all whose who are celebrating Eid.
“On the occasion of #EidMiladUnNabi?, the birthday of #ProphetMuhammad, I convey my good wishes to all those who are celebrating. I hope the day bring abundance of blessings and happiness. #EidMubarak,” he tweeted. (Page News Service)
