Dimapur, April 21: Principal Secretary to Government of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha IAS has informed all Deputy Commissioners in Nagaland that as per consolidated revised guidelines of lockdown throughout the state, construction activities would be allowed as per guidelines.
1. Construction of roads, irrigation projects, buildings and all kinds of industrial/projects, including MSMEs, in rural areas, i.e., outside the limits of Municipalities/Town/Urban stations and all kinds of projects in industrial estates.
2. Construction of renewable energy projects.
3. Continuation of works in construction projects, within the limits of Municipalities/Town/Urban stations, where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought in from outside.
Further, at all the locations where construction activities are proposed to be commenced, strict measures would be taken to ensure social/physical distancing and as other necessary health safety protocols. (Page News Service)
