WC NNPGs on threshold of political solution: Neokpao Konyak
Dimapur, November 22: The GPRN/NSCN on Sunday celebrated the 13th Unification Day at the Council Headquarters, Khehoi Designated Camp, with convener, NPAC, GPRN/NSCN, Zutovi Swu hoisting the Naga National Flag, followed by a military drill displayed by Naga Army.
In his address, GPRN/NSCN president, Gen. (Retd) M B Neokpao Konyak admitted that although complete reconciliation and unity is yet to be achieved, the spirit and commitment of the Covenant of Reconciliation is pretty much a working principle of WC, NNPGs.
“In unity and comradeship, the 7 Naga political groups (WC, NNPGs) are on a threshold of a political solution that is honorable and acceptable to the Naga people. We have never wavered from the idea of Naga reconciliation even though the Naga people have now shifted the focus from reconciliation and unity to practical and realistic Indo-Naga political solution and rightly so,” he said.
