Dimapur, May 17: The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has expressed sorrow over the death of Lumba Raising from Peh village (Wung Tangkhul Region), Executive Member, Steering Committee, NSCN on May 17 after his prolonged fight against cancer.
He was undergoing treatment for his Cancer for quite some period and passed away peacefully at around 3 a.m. at Referral Hospital, Dimapur.
He was in the national service for thirty (30) years and has served in different capacities ever since he joined NSCN in 1988. He was one person who helped set up the Secretariat, GPRN in Council Headquarters (CHQ), Hebron. He was the first Principal Secretary, GPRN. He has served as Auditor General (AG), Chaplee Secretary, Kilo Secretary, Keya Secretary, Secretary of Art, Culture & Tourism (ACT) and Kilonser of Mines & Minerals.
For the service rendered for the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga political struggle, the GPRN stated while praying that God bestow comfort and strength to the bereaved family members to withstand this deep sorrow. (Page News Service)
Dimapur, May 17: The Naga Army, FGN has expressed grief at the demise of A/No 0293-Lt Col Miusian, 2nd Bn. 1st B’de. W/C Naga Army on May 17 at his native village, Zeliangrong region.
Lt Col Miusian joined Naga Army on 15th Feb 1959 and faithfully served the nation till his death, said Gen Tavecho Lala, C-in-C, Naga Army, FGN in a condolence message.
The Naga Army, FGN conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
