Dimapur, April 28: As a measure of austerity in view of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Government of Nagaland has directed that there would be pro-rata cuts of 155 under ‘Non Development’ from the Budget Estimates (BE) of 2020-21 in respect of all departments for the Travel Expenses, Office Expenses, Motor Vehicles and Maintenance.
In an Office Memorandum, Additional Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner, Sentiyanger Imchen stated that details of demand-wise cuts on the said items would be issued separately. (Page News Service)
