Dimapur, July 1: The Government of Nagaland held a consultative meeting with NSF and ENSF officials on Wednesday in the secretariat conference hall to discuss issues pertaining to the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
The meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Temjen Toy, was attended by NSF and ENSF officials, Commissioner & Secretary P&AR and other State Government officials.
The members deliberated on the modalities of Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) as presented by the State Government and it was agreed upon that the modalities at hand will be subjected to necessary rectification, if any.
The federation appreciated the State Government led by Chief Minister Nephiu Rio and his Council of Ministers for their sincerity and concern towards the welfare of the aspirant students’ community.
Stating that NSSB has been a long cherished dream of the students’ community and the youths of the State, which will bring about equal job opportunity and meritocracy in the process of selection, the federation expressed confidence and appealed the State Government that the NSSB be approved in letter and spirit within the stipulated period of one month as previously communicated.
