Governor, others condole MC Konyak’s demise

Dimapur, June 17: Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan has expressed grief at the demise of MC Konyak, former Minister on June 16.
In a condolence message, the Governor stated that late Konyak was a sincere, committed and gentle leader who worked hard for the welfare of the society.
Stating that his legacy of love, faith and service would continue to inspire everyone, the Governor, on behalf of the people of Naaland and on his own behalf conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir has expressed grief at the death of former Minister MC Konyak.
“His passing will be an irreparable loss not just to his family and loved ones, but to the entire eastern Naga community and the people of Nagaland in general. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family with prayers for eternal rest of the departed soul”, he stated in a message issued on Monday.
In a separate message, he also expressed condolences to Moa Imchen, the General Secretary of NPCC, whose mother had passed away.
“A loving mother till the very end, her exemplary life of devotion and sacrifices will continue to bless the lives of her family and loved ones for generations to come. I, on behalf of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee, extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace”, it stated.
Ex-PAN
The Ex-Parliamentarians Association of Nagaland (Ex-PAN) has expressed grief at the demise of former Minister MC Konyak.
“His demise is not only a loss to the Konyak community in particular but to the Nagas in general,” it said.
The Ex-PAN conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
