Dimapur, November 10: Nagaland Governor PB Acharya has expressed grief at the demise of former Minister and 4 time MLA, K Yamakam, father of Advisor, SCERT, IPR and Village Guards, Toshi Wungtung on Friday.
“His contributions for the upliftment of weaker sections and under-privileged will be remembered by all.
“In his demise, the people of Nagaland have lost a tall leader and a great human being who will be remembered fondly,” he said.
The Governor conveyed heartfelt condolence to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NLA: Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Vikho-o Yhoshu has expressed grief at the demise of former Minister, K Yamakam on Friday at Dimapur.
“In his demise one of the tallest and a great leader is lost, the vacuum of which will be difficult to fill,” he said.
The NLA extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NPCC: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed grief at the passing away of K Yamakam, former Minister.
“His demise has indeed left a void which cannot be filled and the vacuum will be deeply felt by his community and society alike,” said NPCC president K Their in a condolence message.
The NPCC expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
IPR: The Department of Information & Public Relations has condoled the demise of former minister and four-time MLA, K Yamakam on November 9. Lt. Yakamam was the father of Advisor, SCERT, IPR and Village Guards, Toshi Wungtung.
The Department conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Tohanba: Former MLA R Tohanba has also expressed grief at the demise of K Yamakam and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
N. Theyo: Former Minister N. Theyo has expressed grief at the sudden demise of K. Yamakam, former Minister of Nagaland at Zion Hospital, Dimapur.
“His death is a great loss to me in particular and the Naga people as a whole. Sadly, he is no more but he is to be remembered with thanks and gratitude,” he said.
